early January: “By His Wounds”, a song performed by an ensemble of Christian music artists, including Brian is posted in a Christian music blog. The song is part of the “Glory Revealed” album, a colloboration by the same artists. Brian also had a solo track on the album. A tour to support it was announced in early February, and took place in April.
9th AJ’s 29th birthday.
AJ celebrates his birthday in New York City. Howie and Nick are present and AJ shows off his latest tattoo.
10th AJ and Howie are seen shopping in New York City.
11th Brian’s official site is updated with a new message:I want to know, how many of you (like myself) have had the same New Years resolutions for the past three or four years?
Yep I know you hear me. A resolution is to resolve or to do away with, and start something new. Let’s look at two things, our hearts and our attitudes. I want to encourage you to attack this year with a loving and compationate heart. In doing this you will be the servant that God wants you to be. Also, in doing this, you will discover new joys in your life that only God can give.
It’s funny how when you do what God wants you to do, your attitude changes about everything. I find myself more positive about life than ever before because I know I’m doing what God called me to do.
If you do anything this year, I encourage you to seek God’s will for your life, you’ll find that God’s will and your will are not that far apart!!! Have a blessed and wonderful new heart, attitude, and year!

We’ve never experienced recording without Kevin before so it’s different. But we’re trying hard to concentrate and making best album. We still have great relationships with Kevin. When I back home in Kentucky during Christmas holiday, I saw Kevin and we talked about life and so. Kevin and Kristin, they’re expecting a baby.WOW! When will the baby born?
I’m so excited too. I don’t know when it’s due but I’m sure she’s got pregnant and they both are so excited. Kevin let me know about it soon but I’ll keep it a secret. LOL Coz there’s the news that you can share and you can’t share with others. yeah so seeing Kevin during holiday was fun too. The recording process is different this time but we were able to concentrate to make the best album. we’re enjoying the process and we’re looking forward the tour which will be scheduled this summer. we hope to travel around the world.25th Brian, Leighanne and Baylee go to see Kevin in Chicago.

Yes the Wildcats got X’ed from the NCAA tourney. It’s all good though cause I’m a FOOTBALL fan FIRST! At least they got knocked out by my girls team. A loss to the Jayhawks is acceptable. Only two of the most successful basketball programs in the country. We struggled this year. What I am excited about is the conversion of UK to a FOOTBALL school! It won’t happen overnight but we are on the RIZE. Look out for Andre Woodson and the FOOTBALL cats this year and please send them lots of POSITIVE VIBES.
OH, by the way. Is it time to elect another president yet? I’m diggin PINKS “dear MR. President.” Now why didn’t I think of that? Keep your eyes, ears, and hearts open.

Fans are concerned that he has lost a lot of weight since he was last seen in public.
(He might have been in the middle of his weight loss program when he was hiding from the “paps” during his “date” with Kathy Griffin).
Additional footage is shot in a warehouse in Los Angeles a few weeks later. Hence, Wade texting my sister in the middle of instruction: “There’s a Backstreet Boy in our baby class.” And Wade singing “I Want It That Way” under his breath for the entire 2 1/2 hour class. And Wade asking me if I thought he knew Justin Timberlake. And Wade asking me what other songs the BB’s sang. And both of us (yes, me too) singing every Backstreet Boys song we could think of (all four) at the tops of our lungs in the parking garage. 21st AJ attends and participates in the second annual Babes & Aces Charity Celebrity Poker Tournament. AJ mentions that he had had dinner with Kevin and Kristin the previous week and that she looked about ready to “pop”. He also mentions that she’s due sometime the following week.

29th People magazine: Backstreet Boys fans are writing to tell us they received MySpace messages this morning saying that former member Kevin Richardson and his wife Kristin welcomed a son last evening. The Boys announce that the new album will be released on October 30th. Rumoured titles are “End to Beginning” and “Motivation”

1st Kevin posted a message on his MySpace page to fans — while he thanks them for their well wishes, he reveals that his son hasn’t ‘hatched’ yet.

Thankyou for all the love and well wishes. It is not my intention to usethis myspace page to talk about my personal life. I want to use it tokeep you informed of my professional decisions. When I do interviewsfor print or T.V., if I am asked about my personal life, I normallyspeak freely. However, I haven’t done an interview in a very long time.I believe there is a fine line to walk when it comes to letting thepress into my personal life. Sometimes it can blow up in your face.
In my interviews for “Chicago” in Japan, all of the questions were aboutmy professional life. It was very early in our pregnancy when complications can arise, and I did not want to offer up any news yet. Some time after that Brian shared the good news in an interview, which was fine. I didn’t want to issue a press release about it, because I don’t want to use my personal life for publicity.
As you all know from my interviews in Toronto, I made it clear that we were trying for achild and obviously I was very excited about it. We were successful.
However, he hasn’t hatched yet. His name is not Jared, although I am sure if it was, Jared at WC Management would be honored. Since the rumor mill has been working overtime, I will let you all know when he arrives and what his name is, O.K. Thank you for your understanding.

Kevin3rd Mason Richardson was born on 4:56 am on Tuesday, July 3rd, weighing in at 8 lbs, 2 oz and 20.5 inches long. Kevin writes,

The group begins a tour of U.S. radio stations to promote the upcoming album and the first single. They visit radio stations in pairs: AJ and Brian, and Nick and Howie. The tour begins in Ohio, goes to radio station on the East Coast, continues along the Southern US, and ends on the West Coast.

In an interview with INROCK magazine, Brian Littrell said the new album would include various music styles, combining their earlier late-1990s sound with their more recent guitar-driven pop rock sound. 16th Howie announces his engagement to long time girlfriend, Leigh Boniello. Dorough and Boniello, a film exec turned real estate broker, met in 2000, during the Backstreet Boys’ Into the Millennium tour, where Boniello was working on tour. Originally, Dorough proposed on New Year’s of 2006, however, the couple decided to postpone the news of the engagement until closer to the wedding.Filming of the video for “Inconsolable” directed by Ray Kay, is shot in Venice Beach, California. Filming takes place for 2 days.

Highlights:
– The filming went fine, but it was a demanding schedule.
– The Boys were pleasant as always.
– The video is in post-production as of August 22nd.
– Several of Ray Kay’s friends are in the video, and Anders Flatland was film photographer (not sure if that’s the right word).

8th Howie Dorough married his longtime girlfriend Leigh Boniello in a traditional Roman Catholic ceremony in his hometown of Orlando.People Magazine:
“The whole thing was like it belonged in a bridal magazine,” one guest tells PEOPLE of the Catholic ceremony, held at St. James Cathedral. “It was absolutely perfect.”
Dorough, 34, proposed to Boniello last New Year’s. “She wasn’t expecting it, and I was quite nervous – more nervous about proposing to her in front of 40 family and friends than about performing in front of 40,000 people onstage,” Dorough told PEOPLE earlier this year of his proposal at Boniello’s family home in New Jersey.
The couple met in 2000, when Boniello, a film-exec-turned-real-estate-broker, was working as the Backstreet Boys’ Webmaster.
The Backstreet Boys are currently promoting their sixth studio album, Unbreakable, released in October.11th AJ, Brian and Nick host the holiday show Kissmass Bash (Buffalo, NY). Howie is not there because of his honeymoon.
