Howie tends to be a bit underappreciated. No doubt about it. I know it took me seeing him as the Boys became more open and personal with us over the last fifteen years to realize it. But you know? Howie’s a pretty cool dude. He’s always great to fans and he’s got this cheesy and wry sense of humor that cracks me up. Besides, he’s known as Sweet D for a reason, am I right? BSB wouldn’t be BSB without him!
I can’t remember if I’ve submitted one or not! Josie will always go out of his way to take a picture or talk. He genuinely cares and treats fans as human beings. He has stayed humble and gracious. He is a great dad too!

Where to start. So many moments. He makes me feel like I’m the only one in the room. Always greets me with a smile. But hands down…having Sushi with him and @sunnygirl20 in Vegas is tops. Even after being serenaded on stage. Nothing like 2hrs of pure, raw Howie time.

My favorite story about Howie is that I met him at the #bsbcruise2011 for the first time and he was nice to me when I was ask him for a picture but he did and it was the best time of my life….. I can’t wait to see him again soon #LoveAndLightForBSB

Best moment with Howie is when I got to interview him for the This Is Us tour in Valdosta. We talked on the phone for about 30 minutes and realized I was a fan by some of my questions (b/c they weren't typical boring questions). Months later in Miami, he remembered me.

Bodyguard, nobody else. No other fans. He stopped, gave us a big smile and said "do you girls want a picture?" he was so humble and sweet to us. We all took pictures and gave us hugs. I can see why people call him Sweet D. Definitely the most humble in the band.
