So I need y’all to take a minute and hear me out. I know y’all saw that tweet that I refuse to link in here, where they’re tweeting the Boys’ “dream” 30 For 30 Setlist. And in case some of you have been in a cave, let me remind you what that is. That’s the setlist where fans get the chance to vote in any songs from the list onto a master 30 song playlist for a concert at the Cancun event. The emails went out the other day with the link to vote and how to vote. We get till November 13th.
I know, I know, many of you probably voted.
But I have a feeling some of you haven’t and if I can reach even a few of you, this post?
It will have been worth it.
Because I know what the group account is doing, they’re trying to TRL this. You know what I’m referencing. (Justice for Don’t Want You Back damn it.) And I don’t want history to repeat itself. So I plead with you, do not let your fangirl brain blind you right now. Learn from our past mistakes!
There’s songs here we’ve never heard live like Song For The Unloved, Nowhere To Go, On Without You, Downpour, If You Want It To Be Good Girl Get Yourself A Bad Boy…I can go on and on and on. There’s songs we literally haven’t heard in a decade, or decades like Siberia, Roll With It, Nobody But You, Panic, Everything But Mine, etc. And we’re already getting the DNA World Tour show on one of the nights. I sincerely don’t know if we’re going to get another shot at this.
So please. 
Do not, I repeat DO NOT vote the songs that will already be on that setlist. We’ll already be getting those! Let’s focus on the deep cuts, the songs that we never hear anymore, never heard, and may never hear again. I mean when have we ever had a chance like this? Absolutely never. And so, while I love those Boys, seeing them suggest singles on those tweets today? Ew. No. Love them. But not right now.
So please, vote wisely.
