To Whom It May Concern – Netflix Should Air A Backstreet Boys Concert Special

Hello, to anyone who may be reading this.

It could be BSB Fans, if I’m lucky a Backstreet Boy or one of their wives, someone at Wonderful Union, maybe their manager Jen? Someone at Netflix or RCA if I’m due for a miracle. Well, I like to dream big. Speaking of dreaming big, as you can tell by the title of this humble blog post, I have quite the proposition for you. Hopefully you’ll consider it. It’d be even better if it actually happened. Crazier things have happened in the world, and I don’t think I’m asking for too much if you think about it.

You see, many fans of the Backstreet Boys grew up in the 1990s. Yes they have plenty of younger fans and their fandom absolutely goes across generations in a beautiful way. Still, if we’re describing the average BSB fan, we’d definitely mention them being a nineties kid. That’s just the way it is. We are a generation that grew up with MTV, TRL and concerts that would air randomly on TV. On top of these, it was very common for musicians or musical groups to release DVDs (or if we go way back, VHS tapes) of their major tours or one off concerts.

Now obviously we are now in the digital age. It’s all about streaming!

That said, I think that you Netflix, should help produce a concert special about the Backstreet Boys’ DNA World Tour. You could call it Backstreet Boys: Inside Their DNA. Or you could name it something else, that’s just a suggestion. Either way, this should happen. You see, the DNA World Tour is BSB’s biggest tour in two decades. It’s also a result of the major resurgence they’ve had in popular media and music during the past few years that also led to a number one album in 2019. You could air the concert itself and in between songs there could be behind the scenes clips about the inner workings on putting the show together.

Don’t worry, there’s more to this.

Also, there could be interviews from each of the Boys. They could be reflecting on how far they’ve come in just the past twenty years if not since their inception back in 1993. They can reflect on the days during their Black and Blue Tour versus their current one today. If their documentary was well received before their reignited popularity, this will be. It’s just common sense. There’s a story to be told here, and I believe that you guys can make this happen. Trust me, if I could, I absolutely would.

You will get plenty of streams for this if not new signups. Their residency (which was the fastest selling in Las Vegas history) and sold out shows last year can attest to the demand that they still manage to wield today. That’s money in the bank for you, don’t you think? I know other artists have had their own sort of episodes and concerts on your service, so this isn’t a crazy pitch.

In conclusion I hope the right people manage to see this blog. I hope you all really do consider making this happen. It would be great promotion for the Backstreet Boys in terms of their tour, and their most recent album. It would be a draw for new people to join Netflix if they haven’t already. Not to mention, think of the media buzz about this! You know there would be. Most journalists today were Backstreet Boys fans back in the day, and plenty still are now. It’s just a smart move.

Thank you for listening, and hopefully this comes to fruition.

  6. If you are a true BSB fan, you went to the concert or tried hard as heck to go since they sold out quick. But being a true BSB fan and if you were lucky enough to go to a DNA concert you know You Tube videos do not give their concert justice!! It is nice to see but it is non experienced fans making videos!! Being a 90’s baby and a BSB fan 26 years #KTBSPA I agree that the @backstreetboys need a full length concert with documentary on Netflix. It would be eaten up 🖤💙🖤💙🖤💙 Also I would have to agree this concert and documentary of the largest selling boy band of all time THE BACKSTREET BOYS needs to be on DVD for us die hard fans!! 🥰😘🖤💙🖤💙🖤💙

  7. Yes Yes 1000x Yes!!! I went to their World Tour (which was my first BSB concert) I cried and Brian waived back at me!! ❤️❤️❤️

  8. Would love this! 🙂 I’m a huge Backstreet boys fan… Went on their cruise in 2016, in Vegas twice and to 12 concerts so far. This would be great!!! 🙂

  9. Yes, yes, yes!!! Completely agree!! I am an O.G. Backstreet Boys from the beginning and by chance was able to see them for the first time ever in Vegas. That show blew me away and fired up my love for them even more, that my kids are now hooked on them and absolutely love the DNA album. I would pay to stream a concert.
