While rumors have been flying for a couple weeks now (as we reported in a previous post and various twitters retweeted a fansite who had the rumors thanks to What Happens On The Backstreet finding it)… We have news. The fandom has officially gotten confirmation that Nick will be joining the twenty first season of Dancing With The Stars! Fans received the news through this Us Weekly article where they talked with Nick himself. I’m sure I speak for a lot of us when I say I’m super excited to see him performing weekly!
Nick seems to be extremely excited along with us as shown in the tweet below.
Nick so far is joining Bindi Irwin and Victor Espinoza. Other stars are to be announced this week but we won’t know the extent of Nick’s competition till the full announcement comes on September 2nd on Good Morning America. Hints and rumors lead to Sharna Burgess being his partner but we’ll have to see next week!
The show airs on September 14th. The Dark Side Of Backstreet will do weekly blogs supporting Nick on the show. We will be sure to cover the ways you can vote online, over the phone, and through texts. We’ll also do our best to live-tweet the show as well at @thedarksidebsb the way we live-tweeted I Heart Nick Carter last year. Backstreet Army, it’s time to unite and stand behind Nick in his quest for the mirror ball.
